By accessing or using Dr SignOut ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.
## Description of Service
Dr SignOut provides an AI-powered platform for physicians to create patient handoff documents (sign-outs) through voice dictation or text input. The AI extracts and organizes clinical information for review before generating documents.
## Eligibility
You must be:
- A licensed healthcare professional
- At least 18 years old
- Authorized to access patient information at your institution
## Your Responsibilities
### Accurate Information
You are responsible for:
- Verifying all AI-extracted information before use
- Ensuring the accuracy of patient handoff documents
- Maintaining your own copies of important records
### Clinical Judgment
Dr SignOut is a documentation tool, NOT a clinical decision support system. Always use your professional medical judgment. The AI may make errors in extraction or interpretation.
### HIPAA Compliance
You must:
- Only use the Service for authorized patient care purposes
- Follow your institution's policies on electronic PHI transmission
- Not share account credentials
## Subscription and Payment
- Subscription fees are billed monthly or annually
- You may cancel at any time
- Refunds are provided per our refund policy
- Prices may change with 30 days notice
## Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Dr SignOut and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
## Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DR SIGNOUT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.
The Service is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind.
## Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dr SignOut and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service.
## Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the Service.
## Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
## Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes via email or through the Service.
